Manger, Technical Accounting

Our client, a recognized global leader engaged in the development of hardware / software for the networking industry, has a key requirement for a subject matter expert (SME) in technical accounting areas. The Technical Accounting and Revenue Recognition Manager will report to the Assistant Corporate Controller and have full ownership and responsibility for the accuracy of the Company’s revenue recognition on a global basis. This role will be the internal expert and technical reference on revenue recognition matters related to complex software, hardware and multiple element arrangement sales transactions. The role will also lead other technical accounting projects including drafting accounting policies and Company accounting position papers. The person filling this role will work closely with management to understand the accounting implications of business transactions and document the Company’s positions for management and external audit.
